hi guys, i couldn't find any review on attas 10 iron shaft http://www.tourspecgolf.com/ust-mamiya-attas-iron-shaft anyone tried this? how does it play? right now i'm playing project x flighted 6.0 soft stepped once on honma tw717v iron and carry the 7 iron 155yard on average with very little roll, ss 90mph i was fitted for the px 6.0, my swing had quick tempo and medium release, i dont feel the px load properly for me and a bit heavy after a while i'm looking for lighter graphite alternatives that feels great for more distance with less effort i love the modus 120s feel but it flew high for me and hard to fade it, high draw and pull draw all day, tried mrc OT 105x love the weight but didn't like the feel at impact recommendations?

looking for a regular or regular/stiff

So I have been in search of the right shaft for my golf swing. Luckily, I have a very knowledgeable club fitter here in Indianapolis, who I just started working with on this project. In addition to the typical numbers that we all look at, he tends to look at the speed profile and acceleration profile, two of the tools on Flightscope, that help him see exactly how a shaft is performing. I may get this slightly wrong, but the speed profile gives you an idea of how the shaft works with the force you put on the shaft throughout the swing, and the acceleration profile can show you how the tip of the shaft is performing at the top of the backswing and at impact. If there is an upward deflection in the acceleration profile at impact, it means the shaft is too soft in the tip. If there is a downward deflection in the acceleration profile at impact, it means the shaft is too stiff. I went through a few shafts that I already know work for me, and we tested them all during a few different sessions. Diamana X 70stiff- Looked good overall. The speed profile indicated that I was having to work a little bit too much to get the shaft to do what I wanted, and I felt that to be accurate. UST Elements Chrome 6F4T- Looked good overall, but a little soft in the tip. Aldila Tour Green stiff- Everyone talks about how stout this shaft is, but the acceleration profile indicated that the tip was also a little soft for my swing. I struggled to hit it consistently, which goes along with a tip that is too soft. I really didn't love the feel of this shaft. Quadra Fire Express Max WBQ- Looked good overall. I honestly can't remember all the details of this one, but I think something about it was slightly wrong for me. Crazy CB LS Noir 7.4- Looked just PERFECT in both the acceleration and speed profiles. This was the shaft Tario fit me for via email 3 years ago. We started with the 7.7, but it felt too stiff for me, so we changed it to the 7.4 Obviously, each club had a different head, which would affect the numbers, but that is why I just wanted to share the speed and acceleration profiles, which are reflective of shaft performance, independent of club head, assuming head weights are similar. I guess I need to buy a few more of these, now that i know that it is the best shaft for my swing. He then put it on the MOI shaft analyzer and told me that my MOI to shoot for is around 2813, as that is what the Crazy measured.

Has anyone experiment with Aldila Rogue? It's suppose to be high modulus carbon shaft made by Aldila. I've heard that the actual manufacturing has been done in Japan. According to the Aldila Rep that I spoke with at the Tournament: Most carbon is sold at this point and it carries a tensile modulus of 33 million pounds per square inch (MSI). This fiber then carries a 33MSI. If processed further, what is left over is a smoother round fiber that is smaller in diameter. Because of this you can fit more fibers in a smaller space making it a higher stiffness. This next stage is usually called 42 MSI or Intermediate Modulus Fiber. “The benefit here is that you can use less material to get the same stiffness, and therefore a lighter structure.” Well… the new Aldila Rogue shaft has a 125 MSI. How would this compare to Diamana X, Quadra, or Crazy??

Pretty cool video from inside Honma's factory (in Japanese obviously...) http://news.golfdige...nel/111004.html

Anyone try or game these in their wedges? I've read feedback on the heavier 120 version but, don't recall any on the 110s. I'm wondering if the 110s have the same characteristics as the 120s but, in a lighter package.
