paint fill

Go to your local hardware store and get some acetone. You'll probably need something sharper and firmer than a q-tip to dig out the paintfill. Make sure not to get the acetone on anything plastic.

Acetone is good to remove the paint fill, you may need a small pick also, take your time, it is worth it.

I went to the local harware store and bought the gel paint stripper. Used it on my TM 300's and a set of Z101's with no problem. I applied a small amount to each area with a Q tip - did all the clubs then wnet back to the first and rinsed under cold water while scrubbing witha light brush.

Came off easy and did no harm. Do not apply to the ferrules.

I would not let the gel sit on the club for 1/2 hour - maybe just 5 minutes.

I would like to remove the paintfill from my taylor made x300 Fci irons, Does anyone know how to do so without wrecking the satin finish? thanks

Now that cerveyack knows how to remove paintfill - can someone tell me how to add paintfill. Is it just as simple?

Thanks!

First of all, you have to get the paint first and a fine tip brush.

And just use it like the way you touch up paint on your car.

However, since you working with a small marking, you need to be patient and a steady hand will also help.

Also, If you feel the need to mask the outer stamp with tape, do so. That will help you come out with clean result.

Incase, it went overboard, have a Q-tip and that paint removal handy to take off the excess paint fill.

Good luck
