Landy
Has anyone tried AEROTECH shafts? I know Retief uses one for his driver. What about the STEEL FIBER shafts for irons? I think of using these for my irons. Thank you
vpexp
I have them in a set of MR-23 CB's. They are the 95's in S flex. They play slightly weaker than flex in my opinion. For my swing I am between an X and S. For example the DG X100's are a llitle bit too stiff but I get along fine with the TX Tours in X. Harmon CW iron shafts in X are too stiff for me but they work great in S, (I really like these). In the Aerotechs I need the X. All that said I think they are one of the better graphite Iron shafts, not quite as good as the GAT's or Harmons but close. Hope this is of some help. Landy
Are they shorter? Less accurate? Please let me know, Thank you

I think of using these for my irons. Thank you I've got the ss-75 SteelFibre in a Launcher 460, and it's a fantastic shaft. The Cleveland tour van came through here three months ago, and I tried them all. The 8.5 Launcher with this shaft is a monster driver for me. Very stable shaft, good feedback, and not very expensive. The flight is more penetrating, and the dispersion was tight. It has been in my bag for the past month -- I have an R510 TP that is also a very good driver, but this 460 head is very forgiving, and with the Aerotech shaft, I'm hitting it as long as I ever did with the R510, and finding more fairways. The ss-85 is really nice in fairway woods.
Landy
Thanks for the input. I'm a big fan of Nippon iron shafts and debating whether to make the switch.
vpexp
Landy, they are as long as the others I have tried. They are less accurate for me only because the S flex is a little weak for me, and I believe weak to flex. I would use them again except I could never find any with an X flex or .355 taper tips. Because of all that I now use the HTD CW 95's and actually think they are a better product.
