A few e-mails questioning the price. I am sorry guys these are not mine. It is a clubmakers and he feels the 14/15s are worth $25. I am helping him sell these to buy a 540xd or 580xd tp head.

I personally have lighter ones that you could have for $15. 3,4,5 & 6 grams.

sorry.

How many grams are the original weights in the 580XD?  And how much will the swing weight change?

The only sure way to tell is to pull the weight out an measure. The SW will depend on the shaft and length of the club. I do not know of a furmula to derive the SW.

:smile1: hey guys ! just replaced the port in my XD TP with a 15 gram from Shak. great option if you want to play your 45" club @ 44.5". most stock ports in a 5 series head run between 4 to 8 grams depending on the weight of the shaft used on assembly. heads from the van are not weighted , they are just labeled w/ actual loft, lie, face angle, and weight before the ports are added, usually after shafting to acheive a desired swingweight. the heavier ports from Shak will help you play your piece at a shorter length and keep a heavier swingweight, without using lead tape. you also will realize a slighter higher launch angle because your addding weight to the head to the rear moving the center of gravity back slightly. great option to use if your going to reshaft with an ultralight shaft, Fuji Six, ZCom54 etc., and keep the same swingweight. $25.00 isn't a lot to pay to do it right!
