FutreWoods83
I was wondering if anyone has ever messed around with the soles on their retail cameron putters. I really like the blank look the tour putters have on the bottom compared to most retails. I have a studio design 2.5, I was thinking of grinding or sanding it down until the letters were off and then sending it into blackoxide for 3x treatment. Anyone think this may work or just a way to screw up my putter?
sonartec_guy
since the letters are stamped pretty deep, youd be taking off alot of weight.
FairwayFred
You can send it to www.geoputters.com and he will weld in all the stampings on the bottom and then refinish in 3X Black. This way you do not lose any weight. Much better than grinding the sole down which will pretty much ruin the putter.
FutreWoods83
Yea I would loose a lot of weight sanding it down, welding into the letters is a great idea I didn't think of that I will definitly look into. Thanks for the ideas fellas.
