In fairness d2 to d3 i can feel. However i would not say that this is a problem. My irons came out at d6. This may not be a problem for most but the overall dead weight of the club was too high and the swing weight made it feel heavier causing a heaving action from the top. This ment that having consistency was a real issue. Id say that up to d4 is ok unless you like heavy feeling clubs and are strong enough for them.

In fairness, without an accuarate swing scale, you would not be able to tell the difference between d2 and d3...No way !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Mate i can tell the difference assuming that the club has same shaft and grip i could tell you which on feels heavier. I couldnt tell you how much the difference is but i can feel it. Its like the r7 tp i put 2 grams extra in head and i can feel it thats 1.5 swingweight.

I doubt it but I wont call you on it. And I think 2 grams = 1 SW point

OK well its from the Taylormade configurating thiong online they say 2grs = 1.5 swing weights. You have to remember the characteristics of a shaft changes as well it has more whip with more weight. plus the 2 grams isnt just 2 grams its 2 grams 45 inches away from your hands. This amplifies the difference

2g placed at the head is 1 sw pt on any length club
