zip7111
are the grooves on the cleveland 900 2 dot protos cut differently (depth and width) compared to the retail 900 series? It all comes down to what the player requests....I have seen some with tour grooves, and others with grooves that looked the same as retail.... naylit
I was talking with a guy in the Cleveland van a while back and he said the CG series all have the same grooves. Steve's correct, the other series are as request by the player. I've had TGs with absolutely huge grooves and others with standard grooves. sonartec_guy
so the dots may actually have no signifigance at all besides having dots?
naylit
The dots signify the bounce, 2 dots are mid bounce. I don't know what the retail 900s standard bounce is, but you know a 2 dot 900 series is a tour wedge.
Guest
correct in all.......i have a 900 56 three white dot wedge and a 60 raw 2 dot wedge in the 900 series and yes they are tour issue only.......the ones i have spin more for me than black or satin y cutters......but the grooves are what the player wants like said earlier......maybe i got lucky grooves
