brawler
anyone interested in a Cleveland 588RTG 49 degree wedge right from a PGA Tour pro? this wedge was given to me last summer at his local course near me. he explained it was a standard grind except for the grooves which were UGrooves that he requested to be cut sharper. he told me that there really is not a lot of difference in so called "tour" Cleveland clubs and ones you find in a store. they come from the same foundries. the difference is in the grinding, grooves (for wedges and a few select irons), and custom weighting individual to the player. this wedge is in great shape as he only played it a few practice sessions. when i got it i hit it to see the difference in the spin and it is definetly there. more bite to the ball without being excessive where it chews it up. how does $65 shipped sound? i will get some pics up later tonight. :cleveland:
