Grip Size

Okay, I wear a mens small glove, it's almost a hair too big. I am beginning to think that I need a new size grip. I usually use golf pride tour velvet .58 round. they say your two middle fingers should barely touch the club, mine don't. For some reason I have it in my head that this might be causing inconsistancy in my golf shots. I was going to switch to a .56 velvet but they don't make it in round, just ribbed. I was wondering what you guys thought, will putting womens grips/undersized on my 690cb/670 combo clubs make a difference? I found .56 round Medallist grip on golf smith, has anyone had any experiance with these? And are womens grips at all shorter than usual? Any info on this topic would be good, thanks.

Your fingers need to touch barley to an 1/8 of an inch and your fine.when the grips are to small and they dig in it causes a pull or hook . If there to big and to far apart it will make you push or fade. You either turn you wrist over to much or they dont turn over enough and you push. Hope this helps. Good luck

First off, what is the butt diameter of the shafts you're using? If you're installing .58R grips on a .600" butt, you're already playing grips that are .020" over standard. Your first move should be to install .60R grips on the same shafts to make them slightly smaller, no matter what butt diameter they are. From there, we can try ladies grips, but I prefer to move in baby-steps.
