how do the 771ta and tour release 27.3 compare? i liked the softer tip of the 27.3 but found myself able to over do a few when i went after one, just wondering if the 771 is a "livelier" 757. thanks.

I've played the 771ta for over a year and it is an outstanding shaft. The 771ta has a stiffer butt section than the 757, but a more active tip. I have found the shaft to have a very tight dispersion. The tip in the 771ta is not as soft as a 660tr. Hope this helps.
