Posted February 23, 200519 yr comment_80277 I currently own a Titleist 983E 7.5 degree with a Graffalloy Prolite 35x shaft. I'm a 6 handicap with a high swing speed. But I'm looking to improve my consistancy with my driving. Some days I can consistantly driver the ball 280-300 yards straight...and other days I struggle with losing my drives high and right. Now many might say that I should have a good PGA Pro take a look at my swing to correct the issue...but I'm an equipment junkie and I'm intrigued by the Titleist Launch Monitor (the monitor was shown on the Golf Channel last night) and the benefits it would give me in determining the best club head, loft, and shaft for me. Having said all this...and knowing that I called Titleist and they won't have a launch monitor in my area (Sacramento, CA) until November 2005...HOW THE HECK CAN ANYONE GET A GOOD DETERMINATION ON THE CLUB HEAD, LOFT, AND SHAFT CONFIGURATION THAT WOULD BE BEST FOR ME?? DO MOST GOOD PROSHOPS HAVE SIMILAR LAUNCH MONITORS...AND CAN I TRUST THE SHOPS FITTER TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND QUALIFIED TO FIT ME CORRECTLY? Thanks for any comments..... :money:

February 23, 200519 yr comment_80357 If you are missing it to the right the 983K might be better for you since it has a slight draw bias. Also, you should look into a different shaft to keep the ball down since going to the 983K will bring your ball flight up slightly. Maybe the Speeder757 would be a good fit.
February 28, 200519 yr comment_81632 I have the same problem - Just bought the R7 with the Speeder 757 S shaft and so far so good. I only have hit a couple buckets at the range but heading to Florida this weekend to give it a true break in. But from the few balls that I hit I noticed that the high right balloon balls were gone that I was getting with the Cobra 440SZ with the NV 65 S shaft. I was just going to replace the shaft in the Cobra but I decided to get the R7.

Thanks for any comments..... :money: Try everything and took a note on every single one of them. Make sure every number is record in your note book, driver per driver, shaft per shaft, etc.Ball speed, swing speed, tempo, launch angle, spin rate, side spin, etc. Call me after that and I'll do my best to help you w/ the choices to analyse them one by one.
