February 24, 200519 yr comment_80790 Please post reviews of this. I'm pretty interested in trying this shaft out. Super low torque though. Very very interesting.. Thanks.!
February 25, 200519 yr comment_80817 Luckily, if you break it, you're only out a few bucks. Cheap shaft. (Just kidding.)

My Se80 freq's out at 280 in my R7 tour. I love how tip stif the shaft is. The only downer is that I really, really need to stay on it all 18 holes to enjoy the benefits of it. LeftyPwr
February 25, 200519 yr comment_80900 I got my Accra SE-80 M5 in my R7 TP tour. I used to have a 757 XX FLex which was about 285 CPM. This Accra is at 302 CPM which scared me because thats considerably stiffer than my old speeder. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to stay on it for all 18 holes. Because of the incredibly low torque, the shaft kicks perfectly into place and its consistency is unmatched. Anyone that swings 120 or more should try one, at least the M4 flex. Its not like a speeder which is now old technology. The shaft is soft at the tip so the ball can be moved. The only catch is the price but its worth it.
February 25, 200519 yr Author comment_80901 first of all the shaft does not feel boardy at all, but you need to maintain a good tempo and accelerate throughout the swing, this shaft is good for guys who use their entire body for a swing, if you are all arms and wrist forget it !!!! this shaft also needs to be powered, you cannot expect the shaft to do the work for you, the shaft is extremely good in windy conditions and will give you tons of roll, again the shaft is definitely not boardy but it definitely does not kick !!! you get what you put in !!!!

Looks like you got to be at your swing from the get go my swing speed is pretty slow, i like to swing between 105-110 which is about 80% of my swing, if i step on it, im between 115-120max !!!
February 25, 200519 yr comment_80987 105-110 and you're hitting the m5 ... or is it the m4? any comparisons of this one with a d03, also a very stiff (but non-boardy) 1.5 torque shaft?

March 6, 200519 yr comment_82932 anyone have one in a 983 K because titleist did not aprove it and i was just wondering how it played
March 9, 200519 yr comment_83529 I am using the shaft in my NAK 380cc head. My swing speed with driver is around 115-118 and I am using the M4 flex. Bought it from Ken's Custom Clubs. He SST Pured it and got the frequency perfect from the guys at Hotstix here in AZ where I got on the launch monitor. I think the frequency is around 280 CPM's @ 44.5 inch length. The shaft has a very active tip that really has a great feel, but the low torque makes the ball go extremely straight. My misses are pushes right, but they go straight and don't curve farther right. Also, I can't hook it, which is awesome for me. I really want to buy a new NAK 460 head with this shaft. I think it will be even better! Definitely a better shaft than my old Speeder 757.
March 10, 200519 yr comment_83761 BEST SHAFT EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bar none this has got to be the truest and most reliable and consitant shaft I have ever hit. I have it in an M4 tipped 3/4". It is stiff but smooth long but straght but easy to work. This is for me as big of a change as the prov from the professional was = 757 Speeder to SE 80. Absolutly perfect, but you do need to have a certain type of swing for it to work from what I hear. Body swing and good tempo, not arms and hand swings that are quick. Thats my $.02 Danny Anderson
March 12, 200519 yr comment_84239 Depends on your swing approach. If you are a tempo player and have a smooth transition M4 untipped hands down. If you are a "hitter" M4 tipped or maybe even the M5, the M5 is a very stiff shaft might be a little bit of a strech. I use the M4 tipped 3/4", and I am a tempo player with a ss of 122, max 129

The SE (and all Accras to different extents) has a stiff butt and mid section combined with the active tip section. The cool thing about this shaft is the 1.5 torque/Active tip combo! The Speeder is a great shaft, but a very different animal....stiffer tip section, higher torque, and softer mid and butt sections. Good luck! GBR

At first I thought you're talking about the frequency of the shaft in raw not build into your r7 cause this reminded me of my tour irod 95 x-flex shaft before i installed it in my ss-05 i had it frequencied raw and it came out to be over 320cpm but after i installed it and had it frequency at 42" it came out to be 275cpm. i'm assuming that the frequency result you have is with the club to finish length? Maybe the anylizer is not calibrated?
March 16, 200519 yr comment_85193 Here is a link to the Accra website with all the specs for the SE80. http://www.accragolf.com/seseries.html
March 16, 200519 yr comment_85244 I have an M4 tipped 1/2" in a R580xd. Finally had a little warm weather today, 40 and windy !! It took me about 6 holes to get used to it, but after that....YIKES !!! I hit the crap out of it, very smooth, but I agree with Robbie, no kick, it has to be swung. Unless you're a very good ball striker stick with the SC series.
March 17, 200519 yr comment_85533 I am still interested to hear from anybody who has it in a 983K or E. I just got a 983K Tour driver and was thinking of putting it in. I have the SC 65X in my TM R7. Let me know if you have tried the combo
