joey3108
What do the numbers in the speeder's name mean, the speeder 553, what does the 553 mean? 1st #5 is weight category ( in the 50's gr ) 2nd #5 is numbering for wood shaft ( #5-#9 ) 3rd #3 is the year they engineered the shaft ( 2003 ) However, on the newer Z COM series shaft is different, for example: TW74, T is for tip flex, W is for wood, 7 is for weight's category, 4 is the year they'd engineered. Be aware! I don't know when they started this method of marking. Joe

I can't remember it to well on 757 , cuz it's been a while on that one. if i'm not wrong: 7 is for weight category ( 78gr ) 5 is for wood shaft 7 is for the year they were engineered (1997). As of the middle number, 5.6.7.8.9 are numbers for wood shaft. 1.2.3.4 are for iron shaft ( ex: 717 speeder is an iron shaft ).
