anybody know the CPMs as measured by the Fujikura scale on this japan shaft? in stiff flex as compared to the 757 speeder in stiff flex? thanks

IMO this is one of the best Fuji shaft, So much feel and kick to it. I almost can say a better version of 771.

It's butt stiff and butt weight, so it will give you a higher CPM. So be carefull in reading the cpm and tipping, it might give you a shock. Plus the shaft is slightly counter balance ( need more weight on the head to get the sw ).

Depending on what you need to put in it, i would tipped 1/4" less at least to play it true.

Good luck!

Then I would suggest you to go w/ the speeder 869 or Pro 80 or a TW84.

85 grams 2.5° torque mid-high kick. Not counterbalanced. Not a soft tip but plays really smooth. I haven't hit it in a driver yet. Similar to the 869 with a firmer tip and smoother mid section

dido question here......how does this compare to the 660tr??? and joe which would give a slightly lower ball flight???

I would have to say 660 hit slightly lower ball flight but it gives the same flat flight. Due to counter balance shaft on the 764, It'll give you a better sturdy feel at impact. Just like when you counter balance a baseball bat.

764 feel a bit stiffer through out the swing but yet kick the ball pretty well due to beefier butt area, It makes this shaft feel tighter at impact... 660 is just smooth all the way.

I would have to say 660 is for a smooth swinger/tempo, 764 is for a harder swinger that need to get the ball up without balooning it.

Cheers!
