Posted April 7, 200519 yr comment_90075 anyone know the tip diameter of a cameron pro platinum newport? .370? or is it something else?
April 7, 200519 yr comment_90083 when i get home i can send you the model # of the shaft that will fit over the hosel putter head types like the santa fe and del mar 3.5. I had one hell of a time finding the right shaft, but was fortunate to have a cameron (gunmetal oxide finish) that had the model number still on it. send me an email at [email protected] to remind me, and i can get back to you later tonight.. thx ec.

April 13, 200519 yr comment_90775 I'd most likely say this is a taper tip. 0.355 cause i dont think they have time in the factory to cut parellel shafts which are 0.370. They buy the shafts at already pre cut length for 33, 34 and 35" putters. So i'd say taper 0.355". The best thing to do is just buy one parrelel and one taper shaft $10 for both. Keep the other one that doens't fit to keep the street dogs off your lawn :smile2:

April 14, 200519 yr comment_90917 As the others have said, it is a .355 taper tip shaft. Also, if I remember correctly, Scotty uses a more flexable iron shaft to provide better feel. Which iron shaft I do not know - I have never compared the step patterns - but I believe that is the case.
