Def Lead Tape. If you look closely the tape extends beyond the beginning of the letters and onto the paint. Probably to help his hitting this drives to the right.

If it's lead tape......is he trying to counteract his fade with the tape set for a draw bias?? hmmmmmmmm?

it would appear that way...he's not been able to hit a draw since the swing changes

He seems to hit these drives that go wayward right. Think I've read somewhere that says that his new swing can't get stuck. So I'm not sure what's causing the balls to be flying to the right.

actually, tiger really isn't pushing his drives right anymore, most of the time he tries to hit a big sweeping draw and the ball just simply doesn't draw, or he aims right and runs out of fairway.

I read an article I think it was GolfDigest where it says that with the new swing changes you are basically going to hit a fade on every shot unless you try to hit a draw on purpose.

to me it doesnt look like lead tape but maybe its just my eyes

I don't see lead tape either...probably knocked some of the orange paint off of it slamming it down. :blackeye:

its lead tape. i saw it at lacosta and at augusta.

in the pic you can see it starts in the middle towards the heel-end of the ignite logo and stretches another inch or so past the end of the logo, towards the heel
