May 5, 200519 yr comment_93369 I find that the Evo plays about a flex stronger than indicated. I am playing a R flex untipped right now my driver SS is 105-107mph. I had tried 3 different S flex Evos and they were all too stiff. I decided to try the R flex and it is perfect. I have never played an R flex in anything else literally. I am even playing X flex iron shafts but I wouldnt want to play anything stiffer than the R flex in my driver. That being said IMO there is no better shaft out there when you find the right flex for your swing.
May 6, 200519 yr comment_93402 I've had the same experiance. My swing speed is around 105 ish with the driver and an R flex has been enough to handle my swing. The shaft can take a lot and return to square really well.
May 6, 200519 yr comment_93409 I played a stiff untipped and it felt a little stout - in comparison to my 660 TR stiff tipped 3/4. IMo it feels like 1/2 flex stiffer. Smooth shaft for the $$$.
May 8, 200519 yr comment_93561 Took out an EVO in r today - Royal collection head untipped, not as stiff as the NV 75 S that was in it before but definatly more than a standard R :cool:
