FairwayFred Posted May 5, 2005 Report Share Posted May 5, 2005 I find that the Evo plays about a flex stronger than indicated. I am playing a R flex untipped right now my driver SS is 105-107mph. I had tried 3 different S flex Evos and they were all too stiff. I decided to try the R flex and it is perfect. I have never played an R flex in anything else literally. I am even playing X flex iron shafts but I wouldnt want to play anything stiffer than the R flex in my driver. pa55 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 I've had the same experiance. My swing speed is around 105 ish with the driver and an R flex has been enough to handle my swing.
