italianstallion
Okay, so I'm searching around my grandsma's basement when I stumble over an old MacGregor putter. I ask my grandma if I can have it, and being the nice italian lady she is, gives it to me. I tried it out and it doesn't work that great, but I heard there is alot of CASH in vintage club sales, you guys have any ideas on its worth? It's like the kind you find at a mini golf place. It's got blue lettering on the bottom and blue and green colors in the design on the grip. Any idea what it is? It doesn't say what type of macgregor putter it is. I'm going to post this in the general golf forum as well Sorry, no pics.

Can anyone tell me what this putter is worth? I once had a guy follow me to the 1st green with hundred dollar bills in his hand. At another course the "pro" wanted to trade me for any putter in his shop. Its a Macgregor Silver Scot greenshaft blade putter. Rec. No 3852 Thanks in advance, ill post a pic when i get back from a round today!
Henry
I use to collect old putters when I was younger. I probably have 7 or 8 Tommy Armour Silver Scot Iron Masters Putters and about 5 Spaulding Cash In Putters as well. I remember when I was in Hawaii in the early 90's, I was in a golf shop where they had a bunch of these putters with the Macgregor's selling anywhere from between $1000 to $1500 each. However, I think if you check ebay now, you are lucky to get a few hundred bucks for these putters. Let me know if anyone wants me to post some picks.
