Callaway X18 Driver vs. Nike Ignite+ DFI

Featured Replies

Any opinions on either the X-18 Driver :callaway: or the new Nike Ignite+ DFI?:nikewood:

I've got both and loving both :smile2: but wanted to get your thoughts on the two drivers.

Let's hear it. Thanks!

I have an X-18 with Diamana on order, hopefully inside the next few weeks with luck. What is the setup on yours, and how does it compare to what you had previously ??

Hey Pete, I hope you get it soon. I have a 10.5* DFI with reg flex on the Diamana Amorphous. The X-18 has a JV X SR flex on it. The X-18 has a bit of a hard-to-describe sound...kinda of loud. The DFI is much more muted but very nice sounding. Don't get me wrong, nothing awful about the X-18 sound...just different. I find both to be very forgiving and very looooong. :surprize:

I've only had both of them in a short period of time...

The Nike IGNITE+ DFI Drivers were created with an attention to the energy obtained from impact.

DFI stands for Distance Force Injection. The DFI's face has adopted the technology of a Titanium Face.
