MP27 and MP60 are not that far of a different in size.

MP 27 so far are Japan only.

I'm sure US mizuno allow us to order combo of MP 60 and MP32, Which IMO are pretty neat combo already.

If you are thinking really forgiving set up but still good enough to be a player set up, I would go all the way combo of MP60 from 6-PW and go w/ hybrid on the 3-5. I see more and more people setting them up this way. They even go all the way to 19* or 17* hybrid for 5 wood replacement, driver and 3 wood.

The new MX-900 will be a nice match for those wanting help in the long irons to mix with the 60's. It has a hollow head with a forged face and neck. Probably Mizzy's most advaced iron. It also has a great shape to it as well. They even recommend using hybrids as you suggest. Great idea and wonderful that Mizuno offers the option.

I play a Fli-Hi II 18*, then MP 30 3-7 & MP 32 8-PW. I actually like the MP 30, thus my likely the MP 60. I would think the MP27 3 & 4 irons would make a perfect set. Besides the fact I want:

Slightly less offset

MP 30 topline

Slightly box toe

Rolled leading edge

Custom lofts & lie

Shiney black finish

I guess I'll just dream for now :love:
