Hi, im going to get a G5 driver and my swing speed is around 115 and im about 6'1", what shafts do you guys recommend.

Im thinking either the graphite ad m 75 stiff, or a rombax tour spec? what do u giuys think? All help is ap[preciated

i have never tried the graphite design tour ad m75, but it is meant to be a classy shaft if you are strong enough for it! with a swing speed of 115 you should handle her easily!

the rombax is supposed to be a superb shaft, ive heard jow kwok rave about it for a while....he says that it launches the ball well and gives unbelievable run with very tight disppersion.

maybe he could churp in and give his advice

thanx for the reply plus1 ! ihopefully joe can add some more info...

If you swing that fast, you can also handle the Accra SE 80 - I have a friend with your swingspeed that went from hitting 40% to 80+% of fairways after moving to this shaft.

i have tried the se80 alot and absolutely hated it! yes in fairness it did go straighter but the feel was hollow, or even dead! i personally thought that there was too little torque and it made the shaft feel very boardy! also i did notice distance loss when using this shaft! it would all depend on whether you are a feel golfer or a robot....if you like to feel the shaft working then i would not suggest the se80

no its not quite that fast, which is prob why i shouldnt comment on the se80......however my best mate who is an insanely good golfer has a ss of 123 and he felt the same about the accra.

we both thought it had a funny hollow feel to it, that gave good results and tight dispersion but less enjoyment!
