languidcrane
Hello all, Is anyone using the ut-95 hybrid shaft in a rescue type club. I am interested in how it performs against the fuji 904hb and other heavier weight hybrid shafts. Thanks John
languidcrane
Sorry, you can move this to the tour and import forum- I just realized I posted this in the BST.
plus1
i currently have the ut85 in a hybrid and think it is a super shaft, it flies higer than the 904 and to me definately feels more lively..... i found the 904 to be too boardy, that gave a real low dead flight, whereas the ut85 seems to pick the ball up. if you are a hard hitter and want better trjectory go for the 904 but if you are an average swinger, go for the ut85 / 95
languidcrane
I have a driver swingspeed of 115/117mph, and have played the 904hb, and even I don't like the feel. I got a nice ballflight, but it just lacked the feel I'm used to from other high end fujis and gd's. I thought maybe a gd ut-95 x could be the solution. I don't mind a little higher ballflight as long as there is no ballooning. Thoughts?
plus1
the ut shhafts definately have much more feel to the, so i would say go for it, it will give u a slighhtly higher ball flight than the 904.....which helps the ball stop on a dime on the greens, but so far ive had no trouble with it ballooning and i play in ireland! lol
