golfbuddy
So many choices!! Went to their web site but cannot read Japanese. So I need a little help here. Currently have been using a YS-6 in regular flex. SS is around 85 with a smooth swing. I hit it straight but need more distance!!
plus1
axiv will definately help with the distance! To give good advice you would be best telling us how you currently hit your reg ys6, and how it feels to you......ie whippy or stiff and also how you hit it ie high with no roll or low etc etc. But going on the info you have given, due to you currently using a ys6 reg, which IMO plays soft anyway, i would have to suggest....... if the ys6 reg feels good then go for a 5052 > this is an A/R flex that is 52g and 5.3 trq.....should have plenty of feel from her and will definately get the ball going out there for you! if the ys6 reg feels a bit on the whippy side i would suggest either the 5056 > this is an R flex that is 53g and has 5.3 trq ( very light, will gain you yards and will be very easy to draw with the higher torque) or 5556 > which is 56g and 4.7 torque ( which is a a tiny bit heavier and slightly less torque)
golfbuddy
Thanks for the post. The YS-6 feels a little whippy but I like that feel and am use to soft shafts. Also, with a 10.5 head, I hit it a little high but not balloning. Would you recommend a medium or low kick point? What is the Mamiya recommended ss for a R flex? plus1
i would recommend the mid kick ...this way it will have a slightly lower flight and also will feel slightly firmer through impact zone. not sure what the recommended swing speed is for their r flex.....mainly because they have sooo many different r flexes....in different weights and torques! the three models i suggested to you in my eyes were the best fit for your swing speed and spec requirements! plus1
DO U REALLY HAVE TO ASK....... me, who has a different colour of iomic grip on each club is obviously gonna say orange........ the way i see it is, color will bring a smile to your face....it may help ease the tension when ya need to hit her long and straight! but mainly get the orange to be different!
