MPC Posted October 15, 2005 Report Share Posted October 15, 2005 Is it correct that when hitting the ball, on a descending angle, trapping it, that I should make contact with the ball and the face of my irons at about the 3rd/4th scorring line from the bottom? A friend of mine, good low 70's shooter, told me this and I was using the tip today and it did wonders for my game. -- Soes this sound right? Like you said, most pro's and good ballstrikers are on the 3-5 scoring line...amateurs are much lower.
