randagios
Noticed you are playing the GD Tour AD W-60 in your driver. I wonder if you could gimme some feedback. I was told it is extremely soft with a very low kick point: long but not very forgiving. Which is your idea?
plus1
Noticed you are playing the GD Tour AD W-60 in your driver. I wonder if you could gimme some feedback. I was told it is extremely soft with a very low kick point: long but not very forgiving. Which is your idea? hey randagios yes i am currently playing the w60. You are right about the first two points...the shaft is very soft and also has a very low kick point.....the low kick point means you can feel the shaft kick ALOT through impact, which feels great to me, however it does hit high! IMO its very very long especially if you play it at 45.25 or 45.5!!!!! But in terms of your 3rd point i personally totally disagree....i would actually say this is one of the friendliest shafts i have played, which believe me is ALOT!!!!! i have played this on days when my swing was good and bad and have never felt punished! If you are thinkin of a tour ad graphite design this would be a great shaft to start with........good luck!
randagios
Plus1, thanks for your hints. Since you were the one that you had given me the pefect advice about the Diamana flex, if I am playing the Diamana 63 in regular flex untipped in an FT-3, which is perfect, I should go in stiff flex with the W-60? plus1
no! i personally thought the diamana was quite soft also! not as soft as the w60...but still soft. if i were you i would try a regular w60 and tip it! this way you will get max feel of the r flex but will play more stable through impact! ps i have a w60 regular pulllout in my garage if you are interested! not tipped so will probably play similar flex to your current diamana!
