Question is - has anyone used precisiongolf.co.uk? They seem to have very good feedback. Any alterntivesi n the SouthEast of england - surrey/hampshire area? Thanks!

They are really good - I have used them for quite a bit of work and so have several people I know. Great thing about them is that there is no hard sell and they have the Hotsix database on which to base their recommendations. I have to say the best way to use them is not to go to them to simply assemble clubs but trust their computer analysis which may mean not using the shafts you think you need but go with the recommendation :tsg_smiley_yes:

Also- do they stock nippons - I see they have them on their site - I have nippon 1150 X, could be on marginal if I can use them of not - I went from a dg s300 to dgx100 and found the x100 to much - so was hoping the 1150 would fit in - 'should be ideal', fingers crossed the computer will say 'yes' ;)
January 1, 200619 yr comment_112233 Hotstix is a database of practically all available shafts that have been independently tested for technical/bend/playing characteristics which can be used by the clubfitter to match up against a computer analysis of your swing. Google it and you should find out more info (been mentioed on the Golf Channel among others http://www.hotstixgolf.com/ Just give James/Simon a call - they are away I think for a couple of days but I am heading back to them soon for some fairway wood fitting!! January 1, 200619 yr Author comment_112249 Thanks for the advice - I emailed james and he seemed very friendly and professional - once I get my heads I will boook an appointment - whats the cost like - only thing I forgot to ask? Cheers oh another silly question - grips.... Only thing I am lacking is some grips - I presume they will have me covered...thinking golf pride tour velvets - can't go to far wrong there (the new lamkins torsion control look ok...likewise the new winns...-) anyway will they have a load to choose form (even though I think I have made up my mind..)?

As for assembling components brought to them I don't know but they also are an SST Puring operation which they charge per shaft (not particularly cheap but if you are going the full monty ..!!) Grips Iam sure they have a large range - I simply went for the Golf Pride Tour Velvet as the Winns and similar products always seem bl**dy useless when wet
