I use Meguiar's Scratch X everytime I wash just to try and make them look decent again. What about automotive coatings or paint hardeners? sactown Posted January 23, 2006 Report Share Posted January 23, 2006 I have not noticed an abundance of scratching, but I used headcovers all the time. If there was any shaft I thought that scratched a bit was GD Mariyama M-65. It was a silver color and it seemed to be very soft clear coat on it.
