gth1017
Lennie i can back up everything you just said! i too have had the nc1s, the handmades, the mbs and the mb2s.....this set is by far the easiest to hit, equal top quality feel (maybe not as mushy, which i prefer) and super distance.........i thought the handmades where the best set i ever owned...THESE TOP THEM! :tsg_smilie_cool: Just got back into town to find my new NC's from Chris waiting for me. Dang. I've owned them all, and this is the best looking head coming out of the box I've ever seen. Having them shafted right now and can't wait to review them. If it were just about looks, the game would be over. Hope they're as good hitting and good feeling as they are good looking. I've got the MB's right now, and what impresses me is that this is the first cavity back I've seen that's been able to tranfer the "meaty" weight of the MB's to a CB. Time will tell, but the first impression is a great one. Thanks, Chris
gth1017
Played with my NC-1's today. Set them up at 38 5/8" five iron, DGSL 300s with Decade Grips. Wow! Excellent combination of power and finesse. Feel as good as anything out there (very different but as satisfying as the GD muscle backs), spin the ball well, go through the turf very well (wouldn't know about rough because I'm never there :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: ). The ball flight is high but boring (probably due to the meaty, blade-like nature of the rear weighting). Chipping with these is a delight. I put these right up there with the very best of the sets sitting in my garage screaming for air time--the Lehmans, the Gauge muscle backs, the Miura 201's. As far as looks go, to me these are the best looking of all of the clubs--when I used them today I had people ask me what they were and comment favorably on their looks. To me that's cool, but the best part of the look is the confidence it inspires. The clubs look great in the bag, but they look great on the ground behind the ball. Don't know how the club test will come out, but it's hard to imagine anything being noticeably "better" than these.
sly_sam
The thing I love about this company is that it puts such an effort in fine details. The look of all their products has such fine work put into it.

Any truth to this, and for those that have hit both, how much difference do you find.
