February 22, 200619 yr Hi! I have a set of custom made rifle shafts at a 5.2 flex. What is the cpm for this shaft in a 5 iron? I swing this flex well and am thinking about reshafting another set of irons with either nippon 1150 or 950 shafts. What is your recomendation for flex in nippon shafts< Do the shafts need to be soft or hard stepped? Thanks for your help! CJ
February 27, 200619 yr At 5.2 you are in a medium stiff with the rifles. I recommend the 1150's in stiff flex. They will feel a bit lighter but play maybe a hair stiffer than your rifles. I bet the cpm's would be pretty close however.
