pucci
I bought these heads (slightly used 9.2/10) of Chris in December, along with some NSPRO 1150 X's. I didn't get them made up - went to Mizuno with my combo mp33/37 set and got 'custom' fitted - turned out I was Mr Mizuno (i.e standard everything! - except X100 shafts). So basically my current set was 'perfect' so thought screw it - stick with them sell the gauged and get my money back ( semi-broke at the mo). So since February I have been trying to ebay/sell my heads and shafts with no joy - so this weekend I though screw it - lets get them made up...so I did - first reactions - firstly the topline is thinner than I had first thought - dunno why - but holding the head in my hand looked huge - but once made look pretty sweet ( no as thin as my 33/37s- but not unworkable). secondly these clubs are beyond pretty, got a ferrule with a single red line round it and man do they look good- inspire confidence! thirdly - fingers crossed this could be the best thing ever for me - i.e not selling them - - they are so pretty - think I said that all ready....but man they look good. So, tomorrow I am of to Royal Saint Georges for a blast with them - going cold turkey so to speak - will give a review / pictures after ( possibly wednesday as its going to be a long day! Phillip Alexander
Your report should make for very interesting reading once you have completed your round :tsg_smilie_cool:
pucci
first impressions - these things are great! I swung like a dog tbh - played ok on the front 9 - but plain sucked on the back anyways- I was very happy with the clubs, highlights were- 6 iron from 179 yards to about 9 foot ( missed the sodding eagle put :() then later in the round a 3iron from 185 ( bloody links course) which felt sooooooooooo good and reacted just how I wanted it to. Doubt my mp33 3 iron could have compared to that shot. Overall the long irons are fantastic - 3-5 keepers straight out the block. 6-PW need to practise with them - feel solid - but not quite got the same 'through the ball' feel as my mp37s.... first impressions would be a 8.5/10 - which is nice when I swung as bad as I did. ( don't get me started on the putting;)) Will get some pictures up of my bag etc this weekend ( may do '2 bags' one with mizunos to compare Take it easy! karjar
I agree. I finally got to hit mine yesterday after sitting on them since December as well. They feel great, and yeah the long irons are really nice. Love the feel on those pure shots. My clubmaker was really impressed with them, and the frequency steps on the 1150's. Said who ever did the build was good. so all I can say is "Thank You" to the ones that off loaded these. These will be around for quite awhile. Sweet set. Great trajectory, and pure entertainment.
