J-J
Hi, I've got an R7 425 with the stadard shaft. What would be a good upgrade shaft to buy? (problem is that is a .350...?) Swingspeed is 108mph I've used S flex never tried an X (think it's too stiff...) Would like low to mid launch Thanks for any info given !!! Thanks, J-J

Thanks, J-J I put a Graphite Design PM702 stiff in mine and it was super straight. The .350 is a bit of a problem but if you shim a .335 it is fine. the stock shaft was a little light and weak for my liking and the PM702 dropped the spin rate and cut down the dispersion. I swing between 107-112 and usually launch around high 13* to 14*. (i did have to put the weights in a high neutral position to get bring the launch up a little) hope it helps, kenji

Thanks, J-J Axiv 6568M - the Axiv does very, very well in this sized head. If you have a good clubmaker, the shim will make no difference. The Graphite Design M is also a fantastic shaft (with that SS you might find the PT S a little willowy). If you are looking for something a little lighter on the pocket, I've always thought the R7 and NVS 75 were made for one another.
J-J
Thanks for the reply's so far !!! But I'm not an expert on shafts so what do you mean with "shimming"? If someone could explain this, so I could explain this to the clubmaker overhere... I live in Belgium you see, so most things here are off the shelve and anything out of the ordinary they won't do..., or say they can't do... What I understand is that I can fit a .335 shaft in my R7 (.350) head without any problems? This way I do have a lot more options to think about! Thanks for any replies given!
