It was only removed for photo purposes. The head takes a .355 taper tip, but can be shimmed for your favorite .335 tipped shaft. Or stick a Project X into the hosel and have a monster of a safety club to fall back on. I bought this in hopes of shafting it but was given a Tourstage Airmuscle and I hit it well enough to not want to tinker around with this one. TSG sells with a Dynamic Gold shaft for 295. I am offering the head and headcover for a quick sale of 150obo shipped. That'll leave you with the option of fitting the club with whatever shaft you want.
