Carlo
Great Bag! I have seen only one time wedges rusted and still looking beautiful... Did you process the rust yourself or is just natural?
alpha_pro
hehe, its actually copper plated and the copper has tarnished a little. i stripped off the chemical purple that epon wedges normally come with. you can see a little rust on the grinded parts only. i dont think the copper plated areas will rust at all! definitely a great looking and feeling set of wedges!! Wow! That's unbelievable! Copper looks great and unique! No the copper plating does not rust, but if you do not use the wedges the copper will grow a dark film of oxidation. In any case is enough to polish with metal polish and will go back to its actual look... The grinding looks professionally done either. I am considering to do some grinding on my Inpres wedges but I will play with them a bit first to see how it will be done...

Phillip Alexander
Thanks for the report. As I suspected these wedges are very functional with the custom sole grinds. Good luck with them on the course. :tsg_smilie_cool:

neil_kman
Hi Alpha I preferred your old set mate, could you not hit the type-j's? Bit of a backwards step to go with the r7 tp's imho. Still whatever you feel most confident with i guess is what you should use. Nices bags anyway whatever you play.

Nices bags anyway whatever you play. its not that i couldnt hit them, its for some other reasons. 1: i dont want to care for them, or use iron covers anymore. 2: i hit the r7 tp irons way more consistently, and they feel awesome. so why would i need a super expensive set of forged irons?? 3:i had to really go after them with the 1150's in stiff, when now its just an easy swing with r300. there is more to it also.... Phillip Alexander
Well alpha_pro, the new Tourstage bag looks good. I've said it before I wished I lived in Hawaii so Carlton could do all my work. You obviously know him quite well. Question is, have you had a sneak peak at Chikara??? Blader-X
Very nice. You've been through quite a lot of clubs in past months, huh? Of the clubs you're playing now, any that stand out for you that just rock? Besides, obvoiusly of course, the ones Carlton has had some time on! Of all the drivers I have tried this is by far the best. I really like the X-Blade CB2's as well, and i dont see them going anywhere also. The gauge wedge wouldnt be going anywhere too, but with chikara wedges coming soon it will get replaced.

I really like mine as well and it seems there are quite a few around this site who feel the same. For as big as they are, TourStage does seem to get it right more often than not. Glad to hear you've found a driver that's working well. Always fun to hit a driver well. A lot of expectations on that Chikara wedge. I'm looking foward to seeing that one up close and personal as well.
