Mike
My girlfriend was in the car with me and thought they were dropping ordnance. It was in this area called the Virgin River Gorge on the Nevada-Arizona border. Apparently it was a popular spot to do some aggressive manuvers for the pilots flying into Nellis. A group of 4 A-10's flew over doing some hard banks and then on the way bach thru one of the guys didn't pull up fast enough over a hilltop. We see the fireball and she goes are they dropping bombs? We round the corner and see the hill on fire and the three other A-10's circling around. 8.8 million up in flames. Yeah it does get quite expensive doesn't it . Saw two F-18's collide over a major city once , luckly noboday on the ground was hurt . One of the pilots wasn't so lucky though . Enough about this , have you lived in Vegas long :?: I have never been there , so it will be a real eye opener for me
AKFLY
Not to deter your topic ... but how more sites are there like this one BSG and now GGD and who runs GGD ? Sorry but man there is going to be way too many sites soon - not sure if it is good or bad.
chainsaw
I've lived in Vegas going on three years, I love it. Moved here from Dallas. Golf can get ridiculous in the winter, even with local rates. Summer's not so bad if you don't mind the heat, twilight green fees aren't bad at all and they usually start around eleven a.m. There are some decent courses around to play. I personlly think Paiute is about as good as it gets out here, a must play if your in town.

Neither do I AK . But there are quite a lot . Every different site fit's a different niche in the golf community . The racing forums I use to go to , there are about 2 dozen of them . I just had to pick and choose which one's I would frequent often and which one's I would hust browse through . Like I do with the different golf forums I'm at . TSG is the main one the rest are just for browsing .

I plan on staying there until the following Saturday so will try and get as many rounds in as I can . Can you give me an idea on what the cost is for Paiute course ? Since I can play Nellis , I do plan on playing most of my golf there . But do want to go paly at least one other course . Exchange rate is a killer :)

chainsaw
Check out this site www.702golf.com. The costs are lower than what you'd get directly from the course. They also e-mail lower deals out on times that haven't been filled. I got one today for times at paiute that were 35 bucks on the weekend. Just have to jump on it as soon as the e-mail comes. I agree with the browsing... even I sometimes glance at other sites. I usually don't post. TSG is always my first and last stop. I check out TSG everyday, the others I just look at when I have read everything new over here.
CLMelton
This is such a great place to come and learn about golf equipment and other golf ideas. phillypete
Does anyone else giggle a little whenever they see Duffvader's screenname? Maybe I am just silly but everytime I read it I think Muff-invader! 8O      The really bad part is I picture Darth Vader in a porn... mad 70's porn... puffy 'fros on both ends baby!! Vader and the Princess... thats who it would be!! I always thought she was a slut! hehehe It was probably a cut scene right before Luke and Han come to rescue here when she is in jail in the first one... Darth comes in to question her... she says, "MMM your voice is so deep and your breathing is so heavy..." Darth pauses for a second... then the princess winks at him so he starts undressing her using the force then things get a little too nasty for TSG... but I will say this Darth is hung like a freaking Wooky! 8O You know he is... don't look at me like that... you know it! hehehehehe

Personally, I'm working on the whole hacking thing as I have a few friends on the Dark Side of the net but they scare the hell out of me whenever I contact them. Kind of like going to see Hannibal Lecter to help catch the serial killer (or is that the ceral killer who only eats Wheaties with Wayne Getzky on the box). I'm not looking to get anybody hacked. -CL Melton
