Only problem I ca see is that he will only ship bt courier and I can't have that for as I only have Postal Box number for a address and couriers will not deliver to them up here

Plus like I said will have to get rid of at least 2 sets of blades before I can even think about getting a set of 300's .

You could get them shipped to the states and pick 'em up when you hit Vegas. There goes that[/i] excuse for the lack of ho-ing. Only problem would be explaining another set of clubs showing up to the girlfriend. Holding them for someone else is one of the few excuses I've never used so it might just work.

Well an update on the search for a grip for the putter. I finally broke down and just slapped a golf pride pro only grip on it. It feels pretty good. Just in case you do not know what I am talking about it is like the grip on Scotty Studio Stainless or think of the ping grip that has been used for years. Will have to wait and se how it performs. I am still leaning towards the gripmaster standard putter grip. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

What other putter grips have you tried ?

The original Winn grip on my monza, the leather grip on my 8813, the titleist/scotty cameron cord grip on my laguna 2 pro platinum, the Scotty grip on my newport 2.5 Studio Stainless, the baby T on the Futura, the Ping Fingerlock, royal pebble grip, and I know there are more but I seem to gravitat back to the pro only/ping grip that came on my studio stainless. I just cannot bring myself to put a scoty grip on a bettinardi putter. I would like to try the gauge design Ion grip.

One question there AL , do you still have all 3 of those putters :?:

Right now I have a Laguna 2 PP , Mil Spec and a Futura .

Which one do you like the best so far ?

Don't have the Futura...kept it for 2 weeks and unloaded it. Never could line the damn thing up. Between the other two I like the Studio Stainless the best I just wish I could have the hosel of the Laguna 2 on the Newport 2.5 head. I would probably get rid of the Monza and the Baby bee if I got that. This is the pic of my putters minus the baby bee. I wonder if gauge could do something like that.

The monza is a great putter and I think it will share time in the bag with the baby bee. I really like the look of it and the baby bee. Maybe the Mezza monza would be the perfect blend of the two.

Sweet pic Al , I see your laguna is just as old as mine . Minus the 3 red dot's . I just wish the laguna was a bit shorter heel to toe , sort of like the ping zing .

I would think that Gauge could probably do something for you , they do it for everyone else why not you .

Myself am not a TM putter fan , but have not tried very many so that could be the reason . Sorry .

But I do want to try a Mezza , but first would have to try a baby bee , or even a baby ben .

Thanks Mike I appreciate it. Every once in a while I take the 8813 out for a round. I just like putters. Although I do have my eye on some 690.mb irons. They are sweet! Oh well I will just keep my reliable 300 for the time beign. The wife and I are saving for the house...no more equipment for a while. I'll try to get some pics up of the new items. I have added a 14* tour rescue also with a nv105s so my pics are a little dated.

Al -are you using the hybrid shaft or tipping a regular wood shaft for your rescues ?

If a hybrid where are you picking up the shafts.

I am using a regular NV105s wood shaft but tipped. I like the shaft in this club good weight and feel. I just have to remind myself to back it up a little in the stance than a normal 3 wood. If I get to where I can't live without a set of 690mb I will pm you Mike. I think they are beautiful looking blades. Do you like yours? Where in the hell has Pete been? He hasn't chimed in for over 24 hours...we might need to send out a search party. :D

I know how you feel Mike...right now my game is not good enough for blades but when I get to swing a club more often than once every three weeks it can get in the groove (I'll think about the 690's...if you do decide to let them go let me know). I am hoping some of my recent rounds will get my handicup up so I don't lose my ass too bad when I go to Florida in april. I am at 6.4 index right now. Those guys down there with the 20 caps will kill me. I did play Friday and hit the ball decent but the mind was not into it and the back started hurting so I quit after 15 holes. probably would have shot 80 but had too much s**t on the mind.

hey hey guys... sorry about being gone... between Valentines Day and a nasty stomach virus I have been busy...

I did get out Friday to hit some balls... I am hitting like crap! the Driver espeically... I think its this swing change I made but man was I sucking... I even put a nice nick on the top from a skyball!!!! Uhg I hate that!! Gotta get some more range time in get things back together...

When I did connect with my irons I was atleast a whole club longer. If I can perform like that consistently with my irons I'll be just about regular with my iron distances... now I'll be able to join in those conversations about club selection and what not... its been real weird to out drive most of my foursome and then take 2 extra clubs on par threes.

Probably my problem was my swing getting too long again. That always creeps up on me when I make a change... plus seeing all that John Daly coverage didn't help. hehe
