Are you including yourself there AK !!

It would have to be big bargain right now - for me to switch.

Hit the range yesterday - and all my tinkering is tsarting to show the results I want.

Tipping the 757 just a 1/2 inch in the TP broght the monster alive. I would like to try the 660 - but the 757 may be the ticket.

Now I am wondering how the 757 would feel in the 3 wood

PX shafts - right on 8O - the long irons seem like they do not stop

Back to the Lab :)

Hey thats great am happy for you :D

Can't wait to get my new sticks with the PX am starting to feel like the next 3 weeks won't pass fast enough

And what are you going to cook up in the lab today Dr. Frankengolfer

Actually - I need to get two fly rods built in three weeks - trip is the same weekend you get PXed

Just an FYI Mike ... the water we fish is mostly catch and release - I do believe in select harvest- noting better in a pan or a smoker - but never in the freezer.

Ah so , have never been flyfishing and it's been over 20 years since I did any fishing , so that's how out of the loop I am on stuff like that .

That's too bad - especially considering your local.

Yeah your right considering where I live . My pro does a lot of flyfishing and when I hear how much the various rods and reels cost , I'm sort of glad I don't go anymore .

If I did would never have any money for club HOing :)

thanks for the links mike... I am sticking to my guns I don't think she is hot....

Geeze I do post all weekend and everyone is throwing out thier 300's.

I actually got to play this weekend... posted a huge number . The putter wasn't working at all.

The first three holes were Fairway, Green 3 putt. The the 4th I made bogey from the woods. on 5 (par3) I bounced over the green but then came back for bogey. On 6 all hell broke loose, I think I tried to do too much but I posted a 8 on a 4 putt. And the round was ruined from thier on. The back nine was murder b/c I was trying force things and making stupid choices.

the good news... off the tee I was solid until I started trying t put a little extra on it then I got erratic. My irons were solid, besides my 4i which put me in water on a par 3 both times through. I was scaring the pin with my Scratch Wedge all day. I had a weird occurence with my vokey SW. 2 times it seemed like the ball just slid over it and the grass wasn't fluffy. I was even decent out of the sand.

The damn putter hung me out to dry... guess I need to practice more.

Yup sounds like some more practice is needed .

At least you got to play in dry conditions pete . Am starting to real tired of the mud and slop we are playing in .

it was a beautiful day out... but posting a snowman can make any day terrible.

Oh yeah I love the Winn AK had on the shaft he sent me... to bad after one round it has holes through it! 8O I need to find something soft like a winn but more durible.

pete you are gripping the club way to tight man if that happened after only one round .

Are you trying to strangle the club !! I have winn's on my wedge's for almost a year . No hole's and almost look like they were just put on .

Lighten up on your grip pressure and not only will your grips last longer but your shots will also improve .

Well there was already some wear from some range action but not too much...

My grip starts out light but I feel it tighten up during my down swing... I am wearing the grip on my putter pretty hard to and I am certainly not squeezing that too hard.

I think I just have anti winn hands.

Pete - keep in mind that the shaft was sitting in my basement for like 3-4 years. Try a harmony I like the taper - Winns will last a year if you have a good grip :D

Man I wish I could get that kinda wear out of one of them. I really like them... how close are gripmasters in softness?

Can't tell you that pete . Won't know till I get my scratch as am having those grip put on them .

Something real screwy is going on . Has taken me all morning just to get in from work . I think the video that Chris has on the main page is the culprit :) But don't quote me on that .

Hopefully it is not a constant problem and it goes away soon .

pete - how often do you change your regular grips and what type of grip do you use ?

I use golf prides... I change about once a year, but could go longer.

I haven't had any trouble.

Well, I didn't break anything so I'm ready for the trip, Mike. We got around a foot and a half of snow while I was there. I can't wait to escape up there this summer when it's 120 here and 70 there.

Very glad to hear . 1 1/2 feet of snow , YUCK hate the stuff myself . And this is coming from a guy who live's in the Great White North

Having never been to Vegas before , does it really get that hot in the summer :?:

Boy if it does must do wonders for the waist line , sweating out all the extra fluids one must have to drink

It really can get that hot :!: The scary thing is you don't even realize that you're sweating because it's so dry. It can get pretty windy sometimes and it literally feels like someone is holding a hair dryer in your face.

That said, after growing up in Texas where it's 100 with 75% humidity, I'll take the dry heat any day.

Dry heat or a lot of humidity that is still HOT . :)

Up here they like to say it is a dry cold . Spent 6 weeks one winter in temps of -32*F . They said it was a dry cold and we were lucky , dry cold or not it is f**kING cold

I'll take the heat any day of the week over that . 8)
