I currently have the Gauge Design NC-1s with Nippon 1150s, and they are probably the best irons I've ever played. I love the feel, forgiveness, playability, look, etc. Without picking up another set, I was wondering what other iron sets would compare favorably to these. Just trying to plan for the future....thanks.

do you have the original gaige design or the nc 1s? also in my opinion the best shape and feel of iron ut was the nc1! another giood set id the miura 1006 - also the epon pro 11 iron would be fairly similar in siz and forgiveness.

i would have to say that i personally foud the type j to be more demanding!
