EPONfreak
Hi, I have been keenly looking at all the wonderful collections in this thread and thought I would add mine. I am currently in discussions with Chris about some amendments and setting up a second bag, which will be all Japanese gear. My current bag includes; Tour Cleveland Launcher Comp 460cc 9.5* Fujikura Zcom MW74 X 45" Tour Taylormade r7 TP 15* Fujikura Zcom Pro80 X Tour Taylormade Rescue 3fw 19* Fujikura Speeder 904HB X tour spec Tour Taylormade Miura forged 300 3-P True Temper Tour Concept X1 (soft stepped) Tour Titleist Vokey SM254.10 hand ground hand stamped True Temper Tour Concept S3 Custom Vokey SM260.04 'M' grind True Temper Tour Concept S3 Scotty Cameron Studio Design 2.5 Scotty Custom Shop 'Sublime Lime' grip & cover All have Tour Velvet grips, 2 'papers', irons +1/4" all clubs (except wedges) D3 I was lucky in that I bought all this in one foul swoop and was able to get the equipment direct from tour players and had it custom built and blueprinted to my specs by a very well known club builder....artist really. I change rescue/2iron depending on conditions. I have a few Camerons that I rotate after a poor day on the greens........gota be the club's fault right :tsg_smilie_rolleyes: * I love TC shafts, especially the easy launch long iron, too easy to hit * I will only ever own forged blade profile irons, after toing and froing.......striking is so much better * I had no idea what a huge difference custom/blueprinted equipment makes prior to this set * No wonder pros spin the ball so much with their wedges.......these really really spin (as you guys know). * imediate increase in distance, accuracy and workability Changes to this bag up coming......... * I will change out the driver to a TM 460 TP with Rombax shaft (love the comp but.....something new) * I completely suck with a rescue - will add a 5w to match my 3w * Chris assures me r7 forged are better than my 300's so may get a set of those, might try TT BG * Some TM TP Jap wedges * Adidas Black flag bag (any danger of TM making a stylish bag???????) My proposed 'Japanese Bag' Still working on the composition of this bag, once decided (soon) I'll get hold of the gear!! going for a slightly different make up, leaving out 3i and adding a wedge, going for 4 & 7 woods. See how we go.......feel a bit nervous stepping onto the course without a 2 or 3 iron as security! Epon 460 9.5* Axiv V-spec G-Field GFT 16* Diamana Red M83 G-Field GFT 20* Diamana Red M83 Fourteen TB-1000 forged 4-P TT TC (Satin) X1 Soft stepped) Epon X 50* Epon X 55* Epon X 60* not sure which putter......something from Gauge..... Tourstage stand bag in white (I think) Enjoy the pics of my current rig......I'll post new pics as I make changes........thanks for looking :tsg_smilie_wink: PS - IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THE PICS SMALLER - PLS PM ME - THX Edited November 24, 2006 by TMfreak

EPONfreak
Great rig :tsg_smilie_cool: :tsg_smilie_cool: Those Taylor 300s are an absolute classic set of irons!! Thanks, They are very nice irons. I was never a fan of "players CB's" and preferred muscleback irons. I found what was produced as a players CB was too small, I just didn't like the look or feel, I preferred Mizuno MP-29 and MP-14. The only trouble with these is that it is difficult to hit the long irons on a very high trajectory into hard and fast greens with tucked pins. As such, when the '29's wore out I thought RAC LT's would be the go and indeed it was too easy to hit 3 iron miles in the air. I became frustrated with not being able to manage the trajectory of short irons as well as I would have liked. I didn't like the CB irons that were part of TM combo set so I didn't know what to do. I was considering going back to Miz blades and maybe keeping the LT 2 & 3 iron. Then a firend suggested trying the 300's, a set I hadnt previuosly used as when this set came out I was just starting and bought LCG's. Anyway, very happy with the 300's. I will try the r7 forged. Also interested in MB's and maybe making my dream combo set..........
