buzzsaw
I have a combo set that I might be willing to let go. 3-5 iron Lehman Grind +2mm (TL2MM stamped on hosel) 6-PW standard offset Lehman Grind They are shafted with Rifle Project X 5.5 and were purchased/assembled by Ari of Scratch Golf so you know they were built right.. I can't believe I'm even doing this but with a set of Tour Taylormade milled RAC Protos in the bag they just haven't seen any playing time. They are in excellent condition with just minor bag chatter. I can take and send pics if interested.

tour-md
One of the most over-rated sets thanks to the lemmings at BombSquad. Check into Scratch Tour blades or Miura Tournaments...

Check into Scratch Tour blades or Miura Tournaments... I never thought of myself as a lemming--but I suppose I've been called worse. I will say that there at least two of us on BSG that have brains that function independently. :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: I have played every quality iron made in the last 20 years or so I think (though I've missed the Moz). I can, will and do state without equivocation that to compare the Scratch Tour Blades (no offense, Ari) or the Miura Tournaments (No offense to the hands of ...) to any of the sets of Lehmans I've had and played is to compare Cadillacs to a Porsche, both fine, expensive cars, but suited to a different buyer. The Cadillac is for comfort the Porsche for performance in the hands of an enthusiast. That's the Lehman grind--and if you haven't played it, you can't make the comparison you have. I don't know your handicap or your abilities so maybe you've tried the Lehamans and couldn't appreciate them. But no need to insult a group of people because you're predisposed to believe yourself superior in some way. I can play o.k., owned 3 sets of Lehmans in the past, etc. etc. Predisposed superiority?...probably so, academically :tsg_smilie_whistle: . Point well taken, however. We should get together some time and play "Show Me the Money" to determine academic superiority! Or Jeopardy, or something meaningful as no doubt you have many more diplomas than I from much finer institutions. As to the golf, it's the forging quality (they are made by the hands of --- after all), but the shape of the head, the way the ball is framed, and the grind that I find to be so successful in almost any kind of turf (dry or wet), grass (bermuda, bent, rye, etc.), and length of grass (fairway/rough). Hell, truth be told, very few tour players use any of the clubs we're talking about so maybe none of them's the "best". I think I was more unenthusiastic about being referred to as a "lemming" than I was enthusiastic about having to defend a great set of irons (which I sold on WRX and not on BSG anyway). I guess if you buy them on WRX, you're a "pigeon" rather than a mere "lemming". :tsg_smilie_rolleyes: Edited December 18, 2006 by gth1017

BostonHack
No, Robbie was going to take them and then tore his ACL on a skiing trip so we cancelled. Resold them rather quickly to one of the groupies on WRX. :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: ok, thanks Gerald!
