I would say grinding down the muscle back would lower the ball flight and give more control around the greens. The work is very, very good. Gota go off to play!! I'm still enjoying this look. You're still enjoying the look and I'm still enjoying the wedges. LOL. They are truly fun to play with. Haven't found a lie or a condition that I haven't been able to figure out a play with the grinding on these and the stopping power and feel are just another part of the enjoyment. Since we haven't heard anything about a TBC grind being available yet, I might have to get someone to try a similar grind on an old Spin milled or X-Tour with the MD grooves.
