Does anyone know if any of the japan companies produce a slim / small carry bag? I am currently using a ping hoofer 3 and like the size of it - and any of the import bags that i see are usually very big.

Even if there was a very small moonbag or pencil bag from a japanese company i would be interested.

Let me know guys ....Thanks

Bj

Understandably they aren't the best looking. Besides, I should have known you probably already knew about them.

I'm sure you have the enitre Proshop catalog memorized!! LOL!! :tsg_smilie_laugh:

I am not quite sure what is a pencil bag but go to the ONOFF site (http://golf.daiwaseiko.co.jp) and they have a 7" bag that is more tubular shape not unlike the Scotty Cameron leather sunday bag. It might be too small to hold a full set.

the onoff pencil bag is perfecvt. it may be a wee bit too small however i can live with it! Can you order these in chris?

I have sure Chris can get you anything if you can just give him the model #. I have two 6" pencil bags from Mizuno years ago and they are perfect to take a half set to 8 clubs for short vacation at a resort course. You can actually fit 2 pencil bags in one soft travel cover.

Good luck.

thanks duffer as also your words are wise. Just wondering do u think i could fit a whole set 14 clubs into this 7 inch bag???

It would be a very tight fit and you might damage the grips (in and out too much). I have used a putter tube that can be secured to the side and bottom of the bag so one more clubs can fit in the main bag. I would say with the putter tube on the side, you are getting close to a full set but with very small head covers.

Here are two more for you to look at both at 6.5 inch but with legs.

yeah i checked that site out - it is pretty cool.

They have a really nice taylormade pencil bag as well as a cool nike range bag.

Come on japan - no 8 inch colourful bags on the go???

mizuno actually have one, they can be had for cheap on ebay.

The only thing about fitting a whole set in a pencil bag is the strap usually isnt good enough (case with my titleist one) and there is only 1 strap so 1 shoulder really gets a work out. If it had a proper strap id definatly consider using one.

Just want to show you this if you have not seen it before. It is total impractical but a thing of beauty.
