Im thinking of getting the fourteen 770 forged irons but the site doesnt have the face progression. Does anyone know what it is or has seen them and can compare them to an another iron Im think of the Epon type S irons and the 770 I wonder what has the least offest even though im leaning to the 770.

Thanks

I would compare the reverse progression of the TC770 to the RAC CBs 03 (Japan/Satin). It is there but you have to look closely to find/see it.

There is a slight reverse progression, the short irons seem to have a bit more offset than the mid/long. I have found this to be a Japanese design staple. In the TC770s it is just as not pronounced.

The offset itself is minimal. The only clubs I had with me to compare at the time were the GD CBs (that MGB won here on TSG awhile back) and the CCI Forged. They have about the same as the GD CBs all along the set and the CCI Forged have less in the short irons.

The build quality and balance are superb. I wish I had the $$$ to buy a set like them but the will ding in the crappy and ravine courses that I play.

OT: The CCI Forged were no slouch. Feel was comparable to the GDs, but the balance was also superb.

The tc770 forged irons have minimal offset for a set of japanese irons, as described by xxio. If you check their website again, the description and design targets are spot on. Before I got the irons, I thought it was just a website sales pitch, they mean what they say. To add to Xxio's post, these irons have similar optics to mizuno mp irons.
