Caomhin
Anybody here play this club or have any members here demoed it.Interested in spin and launch characteristics.Thanks. If the Ti is similar to the non-Ti version then maybe you can draw some inferences... I do play the Mizuno JPX 310Ti set woods and irons. I'm of slight build 5ft6, average to faster swing speed and in my mid 30s. Irons and woods are pretty accurate in my hands and feels like its somewhere in between the borrowed older Wilson tour blades I occasionally use and Yuji beginner's cavity set (tested) like its marketed to be. Can shape the ball somewhat but not like a blade of course, but it prefer to hit straight shots 95% of the time so this is definitely ok with me. Forgiveness is good but not like a beginner's set. Ti has a hot feel to it with a very satisfying click when struck through the sweet spot. The 3 & 5 wood are both excellent on the Stiff Regular shaft, and the Driver E310 is easy to play with on the Stiff flex. All using the various QUAD shafts from Mizuno Japan. I hit the 7 Iron (Reg Flex) about 150m or 165 yards, 3 Wood (15' Stiff Reg)about 210m or 230 yards, and Driver (10.5' Stiff) 235m or 257yards. I do tend to go at it with the longer sticks and try to conserve accuracy with the irons. Has a high launch/ trajectory when compared to Maruman Metabio of simlar specs on paper. Thus also less roll because of steeper trajectory. Using regular flex quad shaft that come with it, with some kick from the shaft. Sorry I can't tell much about the spin, but my feel tells me its slightly higher that clubs of a similar spec. Also attached a file with some specs from the Japan website... Hope this helps in some way... Mizuno_JPX.doc
