Homna / Beres

I remember Chris stating the Beres has a few things planned for 2007 that we should be on the look out for. After viewing the sight, I am intrigued with the new MG 712 Iron & Wood series. With my swing speed at 42 m/s and a tendancy to slice now and then, I would be interested in a review of these items in the spring.

Infact, for all of the us at the slower end of the swing speed spectrum, a testing of the new forged irons from XXIO, WR Srixon, and any other game enhancement iron would be great to see. As much as I love the muscle back irons that are coming out of Japan, I would benefit more from the irons mentioned above.

Beres also has a new MG 900 series driver that looks great.

On a quest for new irons this summer....would love to have them custom made by TSG!

I demo one a week ago (MG712 R flex 10.5) and found it easy to hit. Average distance for me is about 230. I found it tend to go right (about 5 degree) and a bit high (may be I should use S flex) since I am using the MG801 iron (B54 shaft).

Compare to my non-comforming Amazing Spec 400 ( which has a 47" shaft I believe), the distant is a comparably shorter (about 5 yard) but much more stable.

Use the 9xx series, but played often with people with 7xx and 8xx series. The 7xx club and wood are good, I am impress with distance created with it, But I don't think that the club has draw bias for slicers.
