May 5, 200717 yr comment_134031 There hasn't been much fanfare on the X-Blade GR but they are premium Endo forged and in recent magazine reviews, a couple of them had them ranked as more forgiving that the ViQ Forged! Size would be close to ViQ Forged, the entire GR lineup is supposed to be for the Average golfer wanting TS's higher end stuff like X-Drive and X-Blade.

I was a little concerned about feel due to the undercut, but I shouldn't have been. They feel as good as a set of custom Mizunos that I am currently playing. Can't compare them to the VIQ irons as I never played them, but they seem pretty forgiving. As forgiving, if not more so, compared to xtours. I will report back more tomorrow after I have played them for a full round. aloha randy

Can you see the undercut trailing behind at setup, or do you only see the top-line and face? This is another item that's been out for a little bit of time without much fanfare or write-up. How thin/thick is the topline?
May 5, 200717 yr comment_134058 I will check again in the morning when the sun is out, but under the kitchen light you can just start to see the undercut on the 6 iron. Of course then you can see more in the 3,4 and 5 irons. As far as top lines goes, it appears a little thicker than my Mp 27s, but I would not say it is extremely thick. As far as looks from address, it is the first somewhat game improvement iron that I liked the look of. The heads appear to be a little longer than the MP 27s, but off-set seems to be about the same. Not sure this helps much, but my impressions under the kitchen light. Randy

Soft,forgiving, a little larger at the back than the regular TS forged offerings. A fine club all around. Numtie

May 17, 200717 yr comment_134680 Thanks for that Gocchin. You must've been reading my mind. I was thinking of picking up a 3 and 4 iron of these to play around with. Offset looks to be a bit much for my taste but damn, if TourStage doesn't make some fine looking irons.
