gocchin
So I collect wedges almost like I collect putters. And while I rotate putters in and out of my bag in the search for my ultimate putter, I find that the Epon Copper X Wedge has been a fixture in my bag for over a month (since the day I got them!). I love the copper finish. It not only makes it look exotic but it makes it the softest wedge I've ever hit. Spin has been perfect, not too much not too little. I originally had them bent 4* flat but as I developed a more upright swing, it caused me a problem on full out shots so I moved them back to 2* flat which have been perfect for me in every kind of lie, opening the face, chipping or full out shots. I plain love the feel. Nothing quite like it yet. I haven't hit quite as many shots as idrive but I thought I'd show their beautiful wear after a month of constant play (at least constant for me!^^). The first time I hit a shot and the copper scuffed off I was sad... but as I hit it more and more it was like making a work of art... you can really see how you hit the club by the way it wears, yeah I don't always hit center! Looks awesome. I'm very happy with these wedges and so far nothing has knocked them out of my bag even though this year seems like it's the year of new and hot wedges!! I've had quite a few others hit my wedges and most of them have proclaimed "SOFT!!" First two pics are what the wedge looked like new... rest are now. I've also been hitting them with 75g Graphite Design Tour AD shafts. I'm very happy with them. Honestly I think the shafts enhance the feel. Phillip Alexander
gocchin, how many times have you hit them?? Looks like no more than half a dozen shots each......beautiful wedges though.
gocchin
gocchin, how many times have you hit them??Looks like no more than half a dozen shots each......beautiful wedges though. 3 rounds of 18 with them plus range time at least two to three times a week for the last month... I guess they are pretty durable in the way they wear if it only looks like half a dozen shots!
idrive
I keep trying to find a wedge that can take the EPONS out of the bag. Can't find one, and I've been trying.
gocchin
I keep trying to find a wedge that can take the EPONS out of the bag. Can't find one, and I've been trying. My point exactly. I've been trying A LOT of wedges lately and so far nothing beats the look, feel and performance of the Epon X Wedge. Will be trying a Sky Dream Jump wedge and hopefully Chikara soon to see if they can stand up to the Coppers... ^^
gocchin
I actually have a Three Luck wedge that I will compare with the Copper wedge later this week, but as of now, the Coppers are still in the bag!

Blader-X
Here's my Epon Copper X-model wedges after a few months of wear and quite a few rounds. I thought I'd share a couple pics which show a little more wear than T's. Still very much in love with all three wedges. Never have hit a better wedge to date. Silky smooth and usefull, very usefull! The pic with the three wedges shows the 50° in back, the 55° in the middle and the 60° up front. The single pic is the 60° up close.

mkb3245
Maybe slightly off topic, but how do the satin wedges compare to the coppers in terms of feels, etc? OR, is the only difference basically the aesthetics? Thanks.
gocchin
Both are soft, but the copper finish is softer otherwise they are the same wedge.
