Posted July 3, 200717 yr comment_137047 I'm looking to get a set of Epon Type S irons. They look to have a undercut channel like the X-Tours in the long irons for forgiveness. How do these 2 irons compare? Looks? Topline? Sole? Is the sole of the Epon Type S narrower? Which do you think has more feel? Which is more forgiving? Thanks for the input

I feel Type S is very accurate and more distance. It was designed with stornger loft angle and more wider sole. Every number of Type S can hit easier with average swinger. I perfers all of EPON club.
July 3, 200717 yr comment_137059 The Type S would have the edge in looks and feel, forgiveness might be a toss up as that's what Callaway "usually" is known for. Topline would be thinner on the S and soles pretty even I think. As sarintr said, I'd take the Epon for sure.
