Posted July 19, 200717 yr comment_137862 I, like some of you, prefer the mallet head versions. I've used the traditional "anser" style for many years, but felt more comfortable with the mallets. That being said, what's your favorite mallet head putter? I've seen reviews on the G-Field by Spoon, so please share your thoughts. Btw, I'm in the market for a new putter, so I need some recommendations (and where to get 'em!). Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! not an anser man myself, i am confident with something with alignment aides. ive tried the odyssey 2 ball, scotty newport detours, bettis etc etc but couldnt stay with any of them. discovered the leap because of the advice of tourspecgolfer and 808hack. so i would highly suggest it. others are: gfield m2+ gd eldik gd eldik m and even a gold's factory mallet. in the end it depends on what putter looks good to you and makes you confident. choosing one is a personal thing and what may suit others may not suit you. pick one you like and if it doesnt work out you can always sell it
December 17, 200816 yr comment_153472 I have tried several putters and have found my favorite. I tried a cameron red x last year and have had great success with it. The way it is weighted really suits a slight inside to inside arc and it rolls so smooth.
December 19, 200816 yr comment_153515 I never liked mallets until the 2-ball came along. My current stick is the Rife Barbados which works for me.
December 19, 200816 yr comment_153520 how things change over the months, im done with mallets back to my trusty anser head:)
May 5, 201113 yr comment_166746 I just moved from an Anser styled Rossa to an Odyssey Black Series 3. It's a small head mallet with a flow neck vs. the plumber's neck I had been used. Feels good, looks good at address and gets the ball rolling where its pointed.
