Posted July 27, 200717 yr I'd love to hear opinions/debates. I've only ever been into heal/toe weighted putters but i think i need to widen my horizons a little. Does the G-Field Leap or Leap M (whatever the difference is, i'm not sure) rank around the best?

Does the G-Field Leap or Leap M (whatever the difference is, i'm not sure) rank around the best? LEAP vs LEAP MLeap is shorter heel to toe with a thicker top line making it easier for the average putter. Leap M is longer heel to toe thinner top line with a more shallow face making it better for the more advanced putter. Same theory as the #1 vs #2 premium zone putters. Shorter heel to toe reduces head twist during the putting stroke. leap is a neo mallet and certainly gets my vote for being one of the best. of course there could be others better like the gold's, zomos etc but havent tried those yet. for now the leap gets my vote
July 28, 200717 yr I didn't like the regular zomo's so much. I might think differently for Maru's proto or pro model. My personal favs are the Premium Zone M2+, Tera, Tubu, Leap M and Gold's 402 Proto. Anyone could make my bag.... if I was a mallet user. (^_^)

July 28, 200717 yr Leap M is fantastic!!!!! BUT, the headcover absolutely sucks!!!! My putter already has more dings in it than all putters I've ever owned put together.

July 29, 200717 yr Pardon me for asking but why the superlative? It is all very subjective, especially for putters. The best mallet is the one you can sink all the putts (regardless of brands.)
